There are very few conferences out there for connecting with people who are doing truly remarkable things; CAC 2005 in Vegas is one that truly enabled me to bounce ideas off some of the most proactive affiliates in the game.

For anyone who is thinking about attending either CAC in Amsterdam or Vegas next year it's well worth the effort as the wealth of knowledge on tap is simply awesome.

At a social level I had an absolutely amazing time and can't wait to do it all again in a year. It was great to meet so many new faces and also catch up with others who I have met before.

VicsBingo.com is going great guns at the moment. We have changed many aspects of this property since taking it over and the results have really started to kick in.

With this in mind we have come up with a series of NEW creatives that will be released over the next few months.

The first of these are new banners for promoting vicsbingo.com and are associated in the RevenueGiants.com system to the vicsbingo.com home page.

We had a few teething problems to start off with but the system is up and running and I’m sure you would agree a huge improvement on what was previously available.

I am working with the tech team on a series of modifications and updates to ensure the system is as user friendly as possible while still providing detailed and accurate statistics.

There has been some confusion about where banners are so I thought I would just explain how this works.

Firstly you pick a landing page. A list of these is available under ‘Ad Units’ ‘Property Name’ (Say VicsBingo) and then ‘Link Summary’.

You are able to preview these and once you have decided on the one you want to use click on the NEW link on the right hand side of the table.

From here you simply select from ‘text’ link or from the banners available for this landing page. Then click the Generate Link button. You are then taken to a page where the code is ready for you to copy and paste directly into your page.

Why do it this way?

The reason we have done it this way is that there are statistics to support better conversions by using specific promotions that match specific banners… i.e. they are all tied in (Banner – Landing Page – Promotion) .If you are using a $5 Free Bonus when the prospect does sign up through your $5 Free banner/tracking link and landing page then the player automatically gets the $5 in their account ready for them to use.
